Esther Aliu Stencilling course.

This is a stenciling class I did with Easther Aliu at East Gippsland, Victoria on the 19th 20th and 21st of March 2010..what a great lady she is and lovely to boot, it is the first time I have stenciled and really enjoyed it, lovely Kaffe Fassett fabric border, cant wait to quilt it, as soon as my Sydney show quilt comes off the Premmy this will go on..I am lucky and do have 2 gammills the other one is a classic, but for some reason I love to use the smaller machine to quilt with, guess cause its very light indeed.

Brother Tony

This is a photo of my dearly departed Brother Tony who has been struggling with a brain tumor for about 12 months..he finally died of a heart attack on my fathers anniversary on the 24th Feb 2010..he was 59 at the time of his death..may he RIP..the quilt was courtesy of my buddies in my yahoo group, many made blocks, Lorraine my neighbor and quilting partner in crime assembled it for me and I quilted it...Tony loved it and got great pleasure and warmth in his last few months on the planet..cheers Bro..till we meet again.

quilters companion magtazine

This is a small wall hanging I have made and written the procedure for in an up coming Quilters Companion Magazine..now that was really hard to do, I guess my mind is so full of stuff its hard to put into words a normal person can follow..lol..but I tried really hard, hope you all buy the mag..wish I worked on commission..lol..I love being able to blog from my puter its Grand..x

Wow I can blog again..yippee..this is a small wall hanging I am teaching at Bungendore Belles retreat in June..cant wait it should be fantastic and very relaxing..my roomy Is Anne O'Connor from Canberra, a lovely lady and fellow long arm quilter...see you soon Anne.xx
